CLR Brands, with its iconic gray Calcium, Lime, & Rust Remover jug, has excelled at tackling challenging cleaning tasks for decades. Despite being recognized for its expertise in one area, CLR Brands was often overlooked for its range of 16 other specialty cleaners that also tackle the toughest home cleaning jobs. We were enlisted to build on this reputation and prove to consumers the full versatility of the CLR Brands portfolio to tackle any and every mess that comes their way.

This led us to the campaign “Been There. Outdone That.” The confident, anthemic approach honored the brand’s longevity and legacy, celebrating individual products and product attributes while also educating the audience. At its core, our campaign showcased CLR Brands as the better overqualified expert of clean — a revelation to new buyers and a complementary reinforcement to those who have been faithful users for years.
